This kit comes complete with a PDF copy of designer Sara Gresbach's shawl pattern, Wide Open Spaces, as well as three skeins of worsted weight, hand dyed, merino wool Nova Worsted yarn in your choice of colorway.

Inspired by vast open spans of drifting snow and frozen earth, where nature leaves its mark through tracks in the snow. An homage to my internal need for wide open spaces, thick with fresh air and lots of wildlife, and of course, beautiful, expansive vistas.

Wide Open Spaces is a soothing knit with minimal details in the body and an amusing edging to keep the knitter interested. In worsted weight, this shawl works up quickly and is sure to keep its wearer warm in the deepest shades of winter.

Finished Measurements:
Approximately 60" (152 cm) wingspan and 30" (76 cm) depth at center

Required Needles & Notions (not included in kit): 
US #9 [5.5mm] 32-40” [80-100cm] circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
4 stitch markers
tapestry needle

Gauge: 
7 sts & 13 rows = 2” [5 cm] in Stockinette st.
