This kit comes complete with a PDF copy of Luna Grey Fiber Arts owner, Jackie Vlcek's new leg warmer pattern for girls, the Queen Bee Leg Warmers, as well as one skein of our sport weight, hand dyed Aspen Sport yarn in your choice of colorway (color shown: Honeycomb). This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level pattern which includes both written and charted directions. Pattern includes instructions for three sizes; 1-3 years, 4-6 years & 7-9 years.
The Queen Bee Leg Warmers are knit in the round using double pointed needles (not included). The cuff is knit with needles two sizes smaller than the body of the warmers to ensure a snug, secure fit. The highly textured honeycomb lace pattern is easy to memorize and fast to knit.
Yarn (included):
One skein of Luna Grey Fiber Arts Aspen Sport yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool 274 yards/100g). Sample knit in the Honeycomb colorway.
Needles (not included):
One set of US #2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles
One set of US #4 (3.5mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Two circular needles or the magic loop method may be used if you prefer.
Please note: Gauge is not critical for this pattern. However, if your gauge varies significantly, one skein of yarn may not be enough to complete the pattern.
