Due North Hat Kit | Pattern + Yarn

This kit comes complete with a digital copy of designer Sara Gresbach's hat pattern, Due North, as well as a skein of worsted weight, hand dyed, merino wool Nova Worsted yarn in your choice of colorway.

Intertwined diamonds that come to a point bring to mind a compass, leading you due north.

Worked at a gauge perfect for the coldest of temperatures, the cozy fit and interesting cable motif combine for a stellar hat you will want with you all season.  Pattern includes both written and charted directions.

Finished Measurements:
Circumference - 19.5"/50cm; Length - 9"/23cm. To fit head circumference of 21-22”/53-56 cm

Required Needles & Notions (not included in kit): 
US #7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge 16” (40 cm) circular and double pointed needles (hat body and crown) 
US #5 (3.75 mm) or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needles 16” (40 cm) circular needles (ribbing) 
Cable needle 
10 stitch markers, including one distinguishable to denote end of round 
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 
5 stitches and 7 rows = 1 inch in stockinette
